“There is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, or smarter. Everything is within. Everything exists. ”

Travel photos from Japan

Traveling Japan is like meditation for your soul. Lush soft green fills your eyes with spots of mysterious reds. Lanterns shine on the hidden meaning of everything. Old tastes of the never before. It is a little pilgrimage to the hidden secrets of life. In Nagano you can walk the Kaidan Meguri – a totally dark tunnel underneath a temple where your hands fiddle their way along the wall – to find „the key to paradise“ – its a walk through the dark into the light.

May 2018: Fukuoka > Hiroshima > Okayama > Himeji > Kyoto > Matsumoto > Nagano > Tokyo.

October 2019: Osaka > Wazuka > Nara > Kyoto

Let’s be reminded of your inner light and strength that is always with you. Share a moment of reflection – of a time you are proud of yourself, of a simple – normal view that in the right light or moment looks beautiful. Let’s remember that we own our thoughts and view of the present. I invite you to join my encouraging photo tribe. Together we are gathering artifacts of life lessons, moments and stories. Just use the #PhotoStoics Hashtag and share your image on Instagram with @annepannecke.
